I started singing when I was a little kid but it didn’t get serious until I was in middle school. The first time I ever sang in front of my peers was at my 7th grade talent show where I sang Landslide. I then went on to join several bands and be a very active member in my high school chorus. After high school, I auditioned for American Idol and came in second place on a local Atlanta radio stations “Atlanta Idol” contest where we sang live on the air.

After taking a few years off music to focus on school and my job, the itch came back and I joined a band in 2010. Once I got on stage I realized it’s what I was always meant to do. Between 2010 and 2015 I toured with this band, recorded an album, and learned a whole lot about what it takes to be a performer. In early 2014, I started Rumours as a fun little side project to do every now and then.

In early 2015, Rumours blew up and I’ve never looked back! I’ve been at this Fleetwood Mac thing for a very long time, singing with my uncle’s band, throwing in Fleetwood Mac songs in my original band’s sets, but Rumours ATL has been the best musical project I’ve ever been a part of because we can truly focus on the music and the magic of it all.

  • Vocals/Keys

I began playing piano at 4 years old at my own request. Music has always been central to my life, and I always knew that I wanted to be a musician. Growing up, I had fun playing music with friends and continuing to hone my skills on the piano. I was classically trained and studied Music at Florida State University. After college I focused on original music, performed mostly duo and solo gigs, and taught piano lessons. Once Rumours started, things really changed the course of my musical career, and it has been a passion and commitment ever since.

I am grateful for every opportunity to make music, and strive to take nothing for granted.

  • Vocals/Guitar

Born in Macon, GA in the same hospital where Little Richard was born. Started on piano when I was 6 or so. At 8 my neighbor showed me a few chords on guitar and how to hold a simple 4/4 beat on the kit. Started writing songs and poetry not long after that. Bought my first tape machine at 13 and have been making records ever since.

Played in various bands all over the country - Los Angeles, CA - Portland, OR - Macon/Atlanta/Athens, GA - Nashville, TN - but my one mainstay has always been my personal project - Nomenclature - with which I have self-released a dozen or so records since 2005. I’ve got a new one due out this year called “Death Of A Magician”.

I grew up mostly in punk/slacker/art bands, so my time in Rumours ATL has helped me hone in on a certain nuanced approach to playing and performing, mostly thanks to Buckingham’s intricate fingerpicking style. Conversely, I think anyone who has seen one of our shows can vouch for the fact that I still let that punk/feral side come out to play. I see it as an exercise in balance - one that certainly translates to all aspects of life - and I can think of no better material to flex that muscle with than Fleetwood Mac.

  • Lead Guitar

I was born in Macon, Georgia, and have been playing music since I was a kid. The drums were my first love, and around the age of ten discovered there was another, when I got my first guitar. Athens, Georgia, has been home for the last twenty-ish years, where I’ve been deeply immersed in the greatest little music scene in the land, playing in dozens of projects ranging from post-tropical psych to shrympanati blues.

Daniel Morrison is a seasoned drummer whose passion for rhythm began in elementary school, where he first picked up a pair of drumsticks as part of the school band. His early exposure to music laid a strong foundation, leading him to pursue formal training at Florida State University’s prestigious College of Music. There, Daniel honed his skills studying various drumming styles and techniques that would become a hallmark of his versatile playing.

After graduating from FSU, Daniel immersed himself in the music scene, performing with numerous bands across a wide range of genres. His dynamic drumming has been a driving force behind everything from rock and jazz ensembles to funk and fusion groups. • Bass

I'm an Atlanta native, and I’ve been playing music since I was a kid. I started on piano, then discovered guitar and bass and how much I enjoyed the elements of a rock band. I grew up playing with my friends, eventually starting to write and record, and began playing for different artists and sessions professionally out of high school. My inspirations are wide spread - from classic rock to grunge, to r&b and hip hop. I love playing any kind of music I can - and I’m always trying to learn and appreciate new techniques while discovering uncharted musical experiences.
