Jerry Tew

Jerry Tew developed an interest in music and musical instruments at an early age. He played trombone and euphonium in symphonic and marching bands during middle and high school, but on his 16th birthday he got a bass guitar, the instrument he’d wanted to play for years. Citing Geddy Lee, Sting, Geezer Butler, and John Paul Jones as early musical influences, he was in and out of several rock and metal acts in his hometown of Gainesville, FL. After moving to Georgia in the 90’s he found regional success with the Atlanta-based band Audiobridge. Jerry currently records and performs in the dreampop band Black Swan Lane as well as Rumours, where he is proud to recreate the powerful yet often overlooked work of John McVie.
